The MINING – Informatics, Automation and Electrical Engineering Journal is a scientific and technical journal, the subject area of which is related to the issues of mechanics, construction and operation of machines, automation and robotics, including mechatronics and control, electronics, including power electronics and IT, including telecommunications, telemetry and monitoring, as well as facility and functional safety.
Mining – Informatics, Automation and Electrical Engineering is an open access research journal. This means that the full texts of articles are freely available to users who may read, download, print, and redistribute them without a subscription. The articles are distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons License (CC-BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
There are no any processing charges for publishing an article in MINING – Informatics, Automation and Electrical Engineering.
1962-2014 the Journal was published only under the polish name Mechanizacja i Automatyzacja Górnictwa. In 2014, the journal changed its name to MINING – Informatics, Automation and Electrical Engineering. Until 2017, the Journal’s Publisher was the Institute of Innovative Technologies EMAG in Katowice. Since 2017 the Journal’s Publisher is AGH University Press.

Publication frequency: 4 issues per year. The original version of the journal is the electronic version. Additionally, upon request of the Readers, a paper version is also available.
